Primeau is developing into a great starter. I see similarities to Jack Campbell at the WJC. The NHL is still 2 years away. Think of a young Cory Schneider.

Not bad. And these two years should be long for the Habs IF Price is injured frequently.

Good trade Primeau is turning into.

One of my favorite trade sequences. Montreal traded 2018 7th round pick for pick used to pick Primeau. Philly trades that pick to Montreal for a 2019 7th round pick and Montreal picks Allan McShane who looks like a good late round pick up. At this year's draft Philly will no doubt trade us our 7th back for their 2020 7th to keep the chain alive

Last year's 7th R'd Pick was Brett Stapley, who looks good in Denver. McShane was picked in the 4th Round.

Also, Montreal got a 2019 7th R'd Pick from Winnipeg in the Armia trade. So if they end up trading their 2020 7th for a 2019 7th, they'd have two 7th R'd Picks this year. Which with the selections they've made in the 7th Round the last few years, I feel confident.

Possible replacement for Price in 5 or 6 years.
- 2 more NCAA years after this year (Age 20, 21)
- 2 years in the AHL (age 22, 23)
- 2 years as the back-up to Price (Age 24, 25)
- Price will be in year 6/7 of the 8 year term when he is age 36/37 (Primeau will be 24/25)

Hopefully be able to see his entire game tonight (if he starts). Will give a goaltenders perspective on his performance.

well with price playing injured all the time, Primeau better pan out...

Price can you at least be healthy when the seattle draft happens?

Sounds like a plan. If Primeau continues developping and we do follow this path then it would mean he'd take over Price just at the right moment for us to decide if we'd want to trade him for a rental or not.

Been real good if Montreal had drafted Leason instead of McShane. In the 7th round. Or take Mcshane 7th round this year.

I'm still not completely sold on Lesson's game being able to translate to the NHL. Granted he'd be worth taking a gamble on but he comes across as a guy who overpowers smaller players to make the play.

From my point of view. Being a tender.. He played really really well. But i doubt hes anything more than a fringe starter at his cieling.

He seem really good but with goalie we never know how they will translate in pro so I will waite to see what he can do pro before thinking that he can replace Price

I'm not a goaltender specialist but he seems very casual in his style. Like very slow to react and lacking focus. He has size and I like his rebound control though.

Sometime I saw him standing like Dryden used to with his body fully straight like just watching the game.
