But doesn't do on regular basis. I can't give him credit for something he might do. Jordan is the superior player defensively of the two, there is no arguing that.
Jordan wasn't giving close to 100% on the defensive end. You may want to rewatch some of his games.

Really? Cause he was a DPOY to his name, not to mention he won said award while also winning MVP and the scoring title. SO not only was he the best defensive player in the league that year, he did so while being the best offensive player.

Jordan was also 9x all-defensive first team, last season he made it he was 35. LeBron hasn't made the first or second defensive team since he was 29.

Lebron has been a great player but that complete choke job in 2011 is all you need to see.

I wish people would stop trying to compare them... Jordan was just simply perfect... 6-0 in the finals is just to hard to live up to.

The best part is when people try to downplay his competition as if he didn't play in arguably the most talented era.

Seriously. Jordan almost won the Scoring championship each season with the bulls while maintaining top level defensive play.

Plus Jordan was so much more exciting to watch. It's like comparing the style of play of Hakeem Olajuwon and Shaq. Like LeBron Shaq would just over power people but he didn't have the style Hakeem had. Kids wanted to copy all of Jordan's moves because he was so dynamic. Lebron is dry style wise.

I don't really care what the media votes for. The notion that a 6'5 player is the best defensive player in the league was, and still is ridiculous.

The notion that because your taller and more imposing physically makes you automatically a better defensive player is laughable. Jordan was great defensively even in his late years while LBJ is probably too tired to be a big factor defensively because he plays the whole game

How? At 6'5 you can be a lot more agile while still having the reach to block players LeBrons size.

Its very old school thinking to say that you have to be above a certain height to be the best defensive player in the league.

And KD is definitely over 6'9", which is his listed height.

KD listed at 6'9
Greg Oden listed at 7'0
