Only bit of solace, our barn was ROCKING during both games, this place is like a UNC game when losing...you could damn near hear a pin drop most of the time

Caps fan here, and I couldn't agree with you more. Our team may be tough but our fans are THE softest in the NHL. If the Caps are struggling in any way, the sissy fans just sit there, mouths agape and twiddling their thumbs. They never provide their team support when they actually need it. That's something they could learn from Carolina fans, who are great whether their team is ahead or behind.

Who was that guy on colour for NBC? God, was he annoying. Had to laugh at John either brushing over or just not responding to his utterly idiotic statements at times.

Got tough to watch after the second went in. Think we struggled with the injuries for the first time tonight. Up to a point we were still playing relatively well five on five, but really never looked threatening. At 1-0 we had chances to get back into it.

Hopefully PNC and a couple of returnees help us take it to game 7.
