Expect nothing. Expect less than nothing. ECHL talent is about all he has.

Not much. He's not really an NHL regular. He is decent on face-offs, can play the wing as well but not much talent there. If he's the worst player on your 4th line you'll do okay but don't expect him to carry a line.

Hes nothing more then a 13th forward.

He played Center last year, but i thought he was better at wing then center.

Rowney played on the PK, i didn't think he was great on the PK, but hes not afraid of getting in shot lanes and blocking a bunch of shots.

If he’s good at anything it’s cycling out of the corners. But he’s mostly just a 4th liner, and a bland one at that.

I am always shocked when I look at Rowney’s AHL numbers. None of his offense carried over to the NHL.

He can be replaced by any AHL center without a drop off and likely at an upgrade. The Pens, who prefer to use 4 lines, used their fourth line less than any other team mostly because him and Reaves suck.
