That's an interesting question.
Hart is the starter and will play 50+ games, only limit will probably be the desire to keep him fresh for the playoffs.
Flyers do need to have a goalie eligible for the ED, which may impact their decision.


* One defenseman who is a) under contract in 2021-22 and b) played in at least 40 NHL games the prior season or played in at least 70 NHL games in the prior two seasons.
* Two forwards who are a) under contract in 2021-22 and b) played at least 40 NHL games the prior season or played in at least 70 NHL games in the prior two seasons.
* One goalie who is under contract in 2021-22 or will be a restricted free agent at the end of his current contract immediately prior to 2021-22. If a team elects to make a restricted free agent goalie available to meet this requirement, that goalie must have received his qualifying offer prior to the submission of the team's protected list.

No way hockey Canada goes without one of Price or MAF. It's a 50/50 shot or better for Price as far as I'm concerned.

I'm sure MAF will be one of their 3 if he has even a mediocre season.

How the f*** is Jordan Binnington still riding a pedestrian performance behind a very good team two plus years ago to a Canada Olympic invite?! He's literally the picture in the dictionary next to mediocre.

My guess will be Kuemper, Blackwood and Binnington/Hart if Price isn't good to go.

Kuemper has been a good soldier going to World Championships and Hockey Canada seemingly factors that in.

Fleury is probably a long shot.
