I’m guessing he’s talking about Oates? Or Kuzy? Lol, no. In his prime he was better than both.2nd best?

They played much worse against the Bruins and lost by 1 on a goal scored with 45 seconds left. You’re just wrong. Easily could’ve been a 4 or 5-2 win tonight. Murray played well. The played against the Sens. Against most teams this would have been a big L.
2nd best?
It's not hate, hes just gotten slower and slower over the years. We all love him, but he's not the player he once was and it's detrimental to the rest of the team. We need to start looking for his replacement and move him to #3C.
@txpd this is why Ovechkin defies convention when we talk about putting him in places that leave him covered. He’s a mule even with 2-3 guys on him on goal 1 and then sneaky on goal 2
Oates, Hunter, Gustafsson all memorable centersI’m guessing he’s talking about Oates? Or Kuzy? Lol, no. In his prime he was better than both.

I’d still put langway No. 2 behind ovie. And then backstrom No. 3I was gonna type "2nd best player" but thought it was too obvious of a statement. He's the best center in Caps history, that might also be too obvious of course.
Feel embarrassed to ask this, but has Fever been on the ice in OT yet this season? He immediately changed the tone of the OT play. This is an example of why 5x5 and PP success doesn’t necessarily translate to OT success in terms of personnel. More Fever and less Carlson please.
Didn’t say the bumper, though, just anything that isn’t turret standard. You don’t want him where people can cover him and I think he can move trafficThats not the point. He would be better at the bumper than anyone. You do 2 things you shouldnt do if you make that change.
1. you are shooting pucks at him.
2. you are taking a player with a shot that can score from 40ft + and putting him in a spot were umpteen guys can score from.
Langway legitimized the franchise. No argument with him at #2.I’d still put langway No. 2 behind ovie. And then backstrom No. 3

Needs 42 p in 40 gp to get 100p. Really hopes he gets it.Can we take a moment to appreciate that even at age 36 Ovechkin is moving himself into the lead for his 4th Hart trophy? The man is a god damn machine. Yes, it's taking a bit of luck that the Oilers are falling away from a playoff spot and have the two other MVP candidates. But even still, Ovie could be tied for the 3rd most MVP awards all time, and doing so at ***thirty-six***.
What a treasure to have a player that just willpowers his way to team success.

That Ridley/Miller trade may have been our second best ever.Ridley wasn't too bad.
