Pronman has the Caps taking Khusnutdinov at #31 in his first mock.
The Caps taking a Russian in a mock draft? What are the odds?

Not sure the third tier runs quite so deep but it is seemingly a Lafreniere then Stutzle/Byfield and everyone else draft.14. Dorion said his “tiers” broke down as follows: Lafreniere, then two players, then players four through 12, followed by 13 to 18 or 20. Los Angeles GM Rob Blake, whose Kings will pick second, revealed: “I would say that we’re going to work hard on about four (prospects).”
Michigan could have three top ten draft-eligible players next season.
2002 born. What, pray tell, does "'02 defenseman" mean? Is that supposed to be a weird way of donating 2022?
Yep, I feel old. For some reason I kept thinking college graduation year so I was very confused.2002 born.
My annual look at Washington's OHL prospects. Some good scoring clips of McMichael in that twitter thread.
Happy to answer questions.
I had an impression of McMichael to be a 'better' Lars Eller, same type of player. An intelligent hockey player with some good scoring chances, he creates himself. Average at puck possession and passing, but good defensively. Is it correct? What NHL player is a better projection model for him, as a center forward and as a left wing?
Do we have a 2020 NHL Draft thread or does this thread serve that purpose?
I'd wager lots and lots of money that the Caps' current crop of prospects will outperform at least several other teams'.
Finally got around to reading this. Pronman's reoccurring theme is foot speed and skating. Those seem to be his biggest knocks on the majority of the prospects in the Caps system
