Ovi was in full beast mode on that last shift, demolished Hughes and Marino effortlessly at the end of his shift. Seems like his game is starting to come around.

Strome-CMM-Protas/Lapi-Dowd should really be our center core - thinking just a little far ahead. Send Kuzy to wherever you can without giving up an asset/having to retain. He has no business being on this team. It will be interesting to see what happens when Leonard is ready in a year or two (whether he plays at C or W). Lapi and/or AP are solid enough at W to play there - CMM is so much better at C, even though he can play W. A shame Lapi was sat for Philips today, who unfortunately just can’t hang at this level because of his size.

I have to go back to the criticism of Shep on the 1st goal. The shot hit his goalie helmet and hard to read and reset in a split sec on where the rebound is going. To make the situation worse, our d-man(might have been Bear) was turned the wrong way. Bear should have been turned facing his goalie to help and not have his back to Shep.

Not yet. Stevenson should continue playing extremely well with Hershey as he's a AHL rookie. He should only come up if there is another goalie injury. Of course Shep is not gonna be a #1 goalie, but he has a bit of room to be an NHL backup.
