Erskine - Carlson :(

Is Orlov on the right or left?

I just paired people up as I came across them on the list. Did not take into account handedness or who they will be paired with.

Line combos and d-pairings were not given and should be taken with a grain of salt. I did however when putting together lines, slot people in to the position that was listed (Laich at center).

I'm curious to hear more about Carrick and Wey. I would appreciate any information by those who can attend. Thanks in advance.

Go Caps!

Apparently Grabovski having Visa issues, won't be at camp tomorrow.

Not sure if stupidity for not applying for one right away or the US governments fascination with trying to keep Eastern Europeans out of America.

Phew i was afraid the pressures to make Laich a scoring C would push Grabs into a checking role, backfiring what looks like a decent signing. Causing dissension within the ranks.

:sarcasm:

Is Wey on team B or C? Would be concerned if he was relegated to team C, with guys like Haar, Kolomatis, and Carrick on A and B.

Grabovski is in Toronto and not in DC due to visa issues. Should be in town tomorrow or Sat.

Laich says he has a left hip flexor injury, he isn't all that concerned and it's totally unrelated to last season's injury.

Athletes need two to seven days to recover from a mild sprain, one to two weeks for a second degree injury and four to six weeks following a complete tear. Keep in mind that rehabbing the injury requires good knowledge of why it occurred in the first place (tissue overload, poor pillar strength, a slipping/ traumatic event). If the pain began for no apparent reason, see a medical professional. Long standing groin or hip flexor pain can be indicative of other hip problems and should be cleared by a doctor. You might be advised to use crutches if the pain is severe or movement difficult. Once you are reasonably mobile, cross-training (swimming instead of running, for example) in a sport or activity that does not challenge the hip flexors is a way to stay in shape during the recovery period.

Laich said he tweaked his hip flexor last Thursday when he returned to Arlington. He isn't sure how he did it.

So he was already hurt, and re-hurt it again, but not worried.

Katie Carrera ‏@kcarrera 1m
Laich says he tweaked his left hip flexor when he returned to Washington. Ice at KCI is softer than what he was skating on all summer.

Isn't Taffe and Segal part of the Bears top line?'

Mike Vogel ‏@VogsCaps 6s

Jesus christ Brooks, you can't even last 10 minutes into the first practice of the season. Maybe we should just get him a wheelchair and recall Schultz to push him around the ice.
