not completely true... Virtanen had a solid year last year and took a few steps forward. Any Canuck fan that doesn’t see last year as a positive for Virtanen has blinders on. Green and Benning have been trying to make him a right side power forward when he has always played his best on the left side. Virtanen looks like a player who knows he’s being traded and just buying time till the trades happens.

Not really trying to start anything here, but his play this season combined with the money owed to him might result in him hitting the waiver wire sooner rather than later if Benning is adamant on 'adding' to the roster.
