Can't believe AV is using Ballard at forward instead of Alberts or Barker. Alberts was horrendous last game.

AV should have tried Ballard with the Twins though.

With Ballard at forward you can at least have a 3rd line. With Barker or Alberts at forward you might as well get new heart and lungs ready for transplant as those Top 6 guys will need them once the game is over.

I think the only reason Eriksson's name is being put out there is because his NTC kicks in next season. Dallas might be seeing what they can get for him, but I highly doubt he's actually moved.

Even with a NTC, you'd imagine if the Canucks could muscle up the right offer, he would most definitely waive to Vancouver. Fellow countrymen Henrik, Daniel and Edler would be hard to turn away from.

They we're already cup contenders, adding Morrow makes them a cup favourite for sure, but not by a long shot.

If Crosby or Malkin go into a slump at any time in the year, the Pens won't be able to win a game.

I would say the Penguins are definitely the favourites. Adding the leadership and grit that Brendan Morrow brings definitely gives them three dangerous lines now. At this point I would say Pittsburgh, Boston, Anaheim, Chicago and Montreal are the teams I would put money on for the Cup. They're the 5 that are clearly ahead of everyone else.
