We just lost the div.

Now we are 1 point above Phx and SJ and 2 above Dallas. Serious risk of missing the playoffs.

It's panic time.

Schroeder is not an AHL calibre C. He's a rookie. Rookies are inconsistent. He's also been miscast by AV in roles that set him up for failure.

He isn't playing well enough for center our 4th line. He hasn't deserved to play on any of the first 3 lines. His potential may be an NHL calibre C but right now he's better suited for the AHL.

The Hodgson trade set the organization back. Hodgson was a perfect up and coming second line scorer for Vancouver. Gillis' ego forced that trade. No one, was gonna tell GMMG how to play his players - and he showed Hodgson's Dad by forcing that deal at the worst of times.

The Canucks can't score goals and they traded their best offensive prospect in years at the worst possible time.

If anything, the fact that we've gotten to the shootout so often is significantly flattering our record. Our ROWs (regular and overtime wins, the tie-breaker) are tied for 11th worst in the league with a whole bunch of really bad teams.

Exactly. That is absolutely pathetic for a team that was supposed to be a contender. Of course the Booth/Kesler injuries have been a factor but the team as a whole has looked passionless, sloppy, and downright dumb in the D zone since January 2012.

I think the franchise needs a wakeup call in a big way. If we're not going to make noise in the playoffs I would rather have higher draft pick and to make some trades with Luongo/Schnieder, Ballard, and more to change the makeup of this team and get a new coach.

Damn, it takes forever for Edler to do something with the puck when it comes back to him.

You know when Sedin passes are exploding off of sticks, it's a bad night.

Agreed. It was a dumb move. Everyone knew it.

But let's please move on now.

they'd be nuts to fire a.v - you guys are effed up. how about a shake up. this team has been the same for far too long. theyre far too comfortable.

though, firing the PP coach , well that could be considered. lol even if we dont have those special PP players, the fact that they have more players out there, should still net them a few goals.. i haven't seen them goto the net, they still play the perimeter

there is a ton of things they could try before hiring the head coach. for one, being healthy

 Lets react with optimism and happiness after losing the division and playing god awful for a month.
Correction...from January 2012 to January 2013 (except for the goaltending - everybody else was pretty much M.I.A.).

Yeah, and Hodgson is the reason for that. Good point. :shakehead
Well he isn't Crosby & Gordie Howe all rolled into one is he?

You can shake your head all you want but this *team* isn't playing well as a team and one **** individual isn't going to change that.
