Just heard on radio that Gaud is confirmed Covid positive. Can’t be a game tonight, right?

Demko starting for the canucks. Since I see no GDT, put here. The game is on. Morning skate is being done and almost over.

Demko was the first goalie off the ice.

Quesnel, B.C.
Great news! Hopefully Gaudette has a mild case.

Time to get down and dirty with the Flames.

I’ll get the GDT out on my lunch break.

You’d hope, however, Rossi has had significant issues getting back from his bout with COVID and was sent home to Austria to rest for the remainder of the season at the end of January. He had it in November.
Ya there seems to have been a few cases for athletes where it has lasted long term but for the most part in North American major sporting leagues the cases have seemed to have minor symptoms

Yikes now Hamonic. All Canucks games postponed until April 8th.

Especially sucks because he opted out of the playoff bubble to avoid the risk to his family.

That sucks for Hamonic. You have to wonder what his appetite will be to even come back and play after this considering where the Canucks are in the standings. If he's fine with skipping the bubble, why play these meaningless games?

Good news that Virtanen seems to be okay though - that would have looked pretty bad given him missing practice then thrown right back out there. I still question the process a little bit there, but it seems to have worked out.

Yikes hamonic is the last guy you want to test positive on this team, i definitely wouldn't be shocked if he calls it for the year after this.
Hopefully his family and him are doing okay.

Its lame to have no games for 2 weeks mid season but thats insignificant compared to serious health risks.
