Coming off a poor performance at Detroit the Canes find themselves in Nashville to face the Predators.
Nashville pummels the Blue Jackets and likely will take the game to us.
Will our lacking Staal leave us w/o the jam to take the invertible surge from the Preds?

Will our Offense leave the Bill Peters shoot 30594093 shots from the blue line w/o purpose?

Will Svech continue his evolution to something more like Goku?
Will Foegele find his engine it's running about as well as a Chainsaw motor pushing a big Rig.

Mike Maniscalco will have the call with Tripp.
Announcers are in Raleigh so some more odd calls :P

I guess Mrazek sits since Reimer needs some playing time but that's not a mark against his play...

Anyway Stay tuned and Find out Same Canes channel Slightly different Canes Time!.

The thing we struggle with most is consistency, and that only matters even more in a short season. There’s really no room to pick up back to back losses, especially if this team is to come out and show us that they are who we all think and believe they are.

I think we match up well against this Preds team, with a few memorable strong wins against them over the last few years. More of that tonight, prove that Saturday was just a one off.

Nashville capitalized on Columbus’ change in style.

I think we need to go 1v1 and 2v2 and make our best lines earn the win. Nashville has 2 lines and a bunch of checkers after that.

with Staal out, our center depth is bad. Marty just isn’t a center and we need to sit one of the redundant McGinn or Foegele. Call up an actual center(too bad bishop is gone).

SAT against Johansen
Dzingel-Tro-Necas against Duchene
Nino-Geekie-Fast against Sissions
Foegele-Cotton/Shore-Marty against Richardson

Staal being out changes too much for us to not change things with the lines.

Love Marty, but he has no business centering any line listed as a “2nd” line.
