When I lived in Arlington (40's -50's ) there was this Fanny Farmers store that had some delicious candies.
And there were Table Talk fruit pies that were truly delicious
Find a Russell Stover's outlet store. We stopped there one time on the way to a convention and bought boxes of the "oops these weren't pretty enough" candy assortments they had. It's chocolate, I don't care if it's missing an extra swirl or whatever lol. Still tasted great.

It's a good thing I did a lot of walking at that convention

Whoa thanks the the amazon tip will try.

I don’t think my new job will ever allow for travel to Asia. Maybe if I go Xmas-NYE.

Anytime. :)

Well, I hope you will be able to. Japan is my dream trip, I am a total fan of their culture. I often watch NHK International, their state TV international channel.
If you go for a vacation there, it's highly recommended to get an all-inclusive train pass. They sell them in advance (like, all tourists get one before they arrive in Japan) and only to non Japanese residents, as it's a subsidized ticket and therefore very advantageous. It should save you hundreds, maybe more.

For anyone going back to work or other things a tip from our Health and Safety Dept is let water run for at least 90 seconds minimum from any tap. Full blast. Same for hair shops, bars , etc...
When first starting up. As well as run numerous trial runs of coffee machines etc....Anything that could have had standing water in it for the past couple of months. Lots of yuckys in there that could make you very sick.

There is a UK cookie company called Ben's Cookies that makes amazing cookies. They're big, mostly involve chocolate, and are sold warm. Most of their stores are in England but they had one in New York for awhile near Union Square. However it permanently closed a few months ago.

They're my favorites, no question.

My top 5 fast food places (Excluding pizza places)

1. Nicks Roast Beef (Beverly)
Super beef w/ sauce or 3 way
2. Five Guys (but McDonald’s is nearby and hit the drive thru for their fries) great merger
3. Chick-Fil-A (Original chicken sandwich & waffle fries (medium) iconic
4. Chipotle ~ usually go chicken bowl, brown rice, veggie fajitas, corn salsa, cheese (pretty basic) but sometimes a burrito
5. Popeyes ~ chicken sandwich is outstanding but the waffle fries from Chick-Fil-A just not enough to overcome

I got others but most are Local and only known around North Shore area I live
