thats true with scoring leader totals going up but 90 points are not out of the question

• Top 5 in Norris voting but not quite there yet
• All around better season than Q Hughes, much to the disappointment of Henchy and Canuckleheads everywhere

Yet another Makar narrative we can put to rest now. "He can't play 25 minutes and be effective."

Cale had 4 goals (half his season total) and 17 points in 18 games playing 25+ minutes this year, and averaged 24:19 putting up 44 points in 44 games as a defenseman.

It is so nice to have a home grown prospect turn into the player he has, one of the “must watch” players in the nhl. He has exceeded almost everything I hoped of him this year. My only nitpick would be his work in the defensive zone corners can be improved but that is a slight critique and he will improve over time... My biggest surprise was the level of physicality he can play with, I did not expect that of him.
