Not as impressive a feat when you compare Brian Leetchs 85 & 78 point seasons to Burns 75 & 76. Feels like a very arbitrary cut off eaither way.
In that light Karlssons 82 & 71 point season is more impressive since he crossed the 80 p line like Leetch did in his 95/96 season and 70 p line like Leetchs 96/97 season. It more accurately resembles Leetchs two seasons.

I can't believe he missed 30 goals again. I thought for sure he was gonna get it last season, but then he went cold in goal scoring in the second half. Then this season I thought there was no way he would miss it this time, and he finished with 29

It's an odd thing to point out in the first place. 75+ points doesn't sound very convincing of a feat.

How does 75+ points in back to back years nothing BUT impressive?

Theres three other players that did 70... They didnt break 75 in both years, so how is it not convincing?

That it's an arbitrary cut off. 75+ points in two consecutive seasons. He had 75 and 76. Leetch had 85 and 78. I don't think Burns and Leetchs seasons stack up side by side. That is what makes it "not convincing" in my opinion. How you'd normaly phrase it is; one had 70+ points in two consecutive seasons where the other had an 80+ and a 70+ season, nearly breaking 80 twice.
Milestones are in 10s. Not in 5s.

Cool accomplishment.

1st in goals, 2nd in points, and 2nd in points per game among defenseman over this time frame.

When somebody breaks Barry Bonds's home run record, we'll have to wait until he reaches 770 to celebrate the accomplishment.
