Karlsson had 71 so how many to have back to back 70 point seasons?
Yeah, but Karlsson.
Edit: Beaten to it, god forbid we just acknowledge a great player.

It's an odd thing to point out in the first place. 75+ points doesn't sound very convincing of a feat.
Theres three other players that did 70... They didnt break 75 in both years, so how is it not convincing?

How does 75+ points in back to back years nothing BUT impressive?.

Props to Burns. Well done.
Good luck to him in Hart voting and reaching the 30 goal plateau
Falling victim to one of the classic blunders. The most famous is never get involved in a defenseman discussion on HF.
That it's an arbitrary cut off. 75+ points in two consecutive seasons. He had 75 and 76. Leetch had 85 and 78. I don't think Burns and Leetchs seasons stack up side by side. That is what makes it "not convincing" in my opinion. How you'd normaly phrase it is; one had 70+ points in two consecutive seasons where the other had an 80+ and a 70+ season, nearly breaking 80 twice.
Milestones are in 10s. Not in 5s.
When somebody breaks Barry Bonds's home run record, we'll have to wait until he reaches 770 to celebrate the accomplishment.
