The briefly installed promotional materials highlighting the heritage logo gave me hope that Anselmi was going to bring us to the jersey promised land. Then he left and things immediately went back to the tired centurion logo.

Roman Senators wore togas for f***s sake.

FWIW regarding jerseys Icethetics expects a third for us this year and we are rumoured for a rebrand in either 20-21 or 21-22.

Even seems like the webmaster gets the summers off unpaid:

Front Office

May wanna remove the two people who left the org. I get it if it just happened a day or so ago, but these folks left awhile ago now.

Also looks like there Tim Pattyson is now the Director of Hockey Ops as of July, looks like our only analytics guy is now in charge of something else.

Interesting to see that he started out as a communications manager and now he’s the director of hockey operations.

Yup.

The depth of prospect pool will help and if the new owners can get Lebreton going and invest in the hockey ops the fans will come flocking back.
Imagine a new owner coming in that actually has some financial flexibility, sees the benefit of investment, and actually tries to market the team?!?!

New owner, new arena, Alfie back in, new jerseys, Chabot extension, real actual staff after canning Dorion, reputable coach hire... they could kill it from day one and completely wipe out the darkest time in Senators history.

Melnyk's despicable legacy of modern day business tyranny could be wiped out in one fell swoop.

Just seems to good to be true.

It's really not though. It only seems that way because of how insanely poorly the team is being run atm.

Even running this team with a very average budget, and qualified exec's in place would make a complete world of difference.

Removing Eugene would be addition by subtraction. You could remove him, put a couple of reputable talking heads in his place, and I would bet attendance and fan relations would improve even if they didnt increase the budget.
