We all know Buffalo is looking to surround Eichel with better players. Would Buffalo be interested in something like this?

Rangers trade
RD- Tony DeAngelo
RW- Pavel Buchnevich
G- Alexander Georgiev

to Buffalo for
C- Dylan Cozens
and Cap dump

I know Buffalo has lots of Defenseman but DeAngelo would be a huge upgrade. Georgiev would be the starter more then likely and Buchnevich gives them another top 6 forward. Thoughts???

deAngelo for Cozens, 21’ 1st and option to swap 1st rounders in 22’.

deAngelo is an amazing offensive dman and IMO will be a league wide top 5 rated offensive dman next season by all fans. Pay up.

Otherwise I’ll do Georgiev for the 1st.

 This is right down there with the Eichel to NYR "proposals" in quality. Yikes.

Oof. I’ll do this trade but there needs to be a condition added. Rangers trade both Shesterkin and Georgiev, and I come out of retirement and become the Rangers new starting goalie. And both goalies are traded for 7th rounders.

You want him for free? I’m getting the most I can for deAngelo. Start high. Someone always accepts :)

Setting aside all the off-ice reasons I want the Sabres to have nothing to do with DeAngelo, we're overloaded on RHD already. So my starting bid is "not interested, try another team."

Guys we just want market value for Deangelo, which won't be cheap but won't be ridiculous, either.

I remember many saying here no to Buf, no no a thousand times no.
However, at 4.8 x 2 he would be a big fit likely long term next to Dahlin.
After some honest re-eval, some are admitting Montour et al are not cutting hit.

So, like I often say, not my original words, but always true.

Tell it like it is, let your conscience be your guide.

There's always someone who looks for trouble.
I did not pigeonhole anyone.
I said Deangelo would look great next to Dahlin.
On paper it IS a great LD-RD pairing.

Yet you gotta do you and go there. ...

why am I prob gonna have to whip out a George Harrison lyric to retort to your nonsense?

Guitar is weeping heavily.....

Dahlin and ADA would not be well together. Dahlin is all around, ADA is only offense. ADA needs a Dman thst is defense first that covers his large liabilities

ADA profited in a career year

Agree Dahlin is all around, disagree ADA is ONLY offense.
Sure, obv, a lefty version of Parayko or McAvoy would also complement Deangelo, but their pairing would have enough general mesh across the board to be compatible and productive, but would excel on skating and other facets.

ADA is still arriving.

ps that guitar is supposed to be weeping gently, not heavily

Ya know, I know politics is largely frowned upon here, but I'm just gonna say this anyway. DeAngelo's immaturity on social media and awful view of the world make him a completely unattractive acquisition for me. That is not the energy I want around my team if I am the builder. He's just toooooooo controversial and his opinions are fundamentally messed up and he's shown he's just not a good person. That matters a lot nowadays.

Aside from that, I don't want Cozens to go for anything and I'm 100% sure Adams shares that opinion. The pieces in the OP coming from the Rangers have value, but just not for a prospect whose coming along as nicely as Cozens for me.

Jeez, these are both atrocious for Buffalo and I’m a diehard Ranger fan.

What if you found out similar about Eichel or Dahlin? Would you not want them on your team?

DeAngelo publicizes his views. Most do not. Hockey is a sport where views of the athletes lean more towards DeAngelo's views than some other sports. There are plenty with the same views. You only don't know about it.

You said it. Nobody is more vocal about it than DeAngelo. That's a bad look.

My nonsense? You elevate a guy who is not much more than a PP specialist to first pairing while trying to foist him off your team for a silly return.
