Shoulda got one game in
Rip, okay even still.

Say UPL comes in at 6x6 or 5x5 next contract and Dahlin comes in it 8.5-9

Under 30 million for your core is still outstanding work and should set the Sabres up to contend in the near future.

It would be. Although there’s still some Sabres fans who’d say the owners are cheap lol

You figure cozens and thompson will be the 1-2 centers for the Sabres for those contracts. So 14.250 for the next 7 years and you got 2 really good centers. Seems really solid for Sabres.

Got your corner stones up front, see how they do with dahlin and power long term on back end

Most important thing to stay relevant and compete for the playoffs will be good contracts, well done Adams.
Hopefully we can become relevant soon. ;-)

I can’t believe he took less than Tage. His Comparables were Ottawa’s and St. Louis’s recent contracts not Tage’s unicorn breakout.

Theyre going to have their top 2 C locked up for 14.25 million total for the next 7 years. By the time it’s up…someone’s 1C will make that themselves

Buffalo is building a contender that will be good for a long time .
Very nice work. They have some amazing core pieces with some excellent prospects coming.
Im worried as a Devils fan that they are seeing if they making sure they have room and taking care of their home grown guys , now make a move for Meier ….
Stay away everyone ! He is ours ! (Devils)

The Sabres have one of the nicest long term cap outlooks for any team in the NHL right now.

The only players they have signed for 2024-2025 right now are Skinner ($9 million), Thompson ($7.14 million), Cozens ($7.1 million), Tuch ($4.75 million) and Samuelsson ($4.29 million). They will need to sign Dahlin and Powers, but their cap situation is terrific. A ton of their core is already signed for very team friendly deals, and their only “bad” deal is paying Skinner like $2 million a year too much.
