Anyone else getting disappointed with Robertson? I know he's battled major injuries in his young/short career and Keefe necessarily hasn't afforded him the plentiful opportunities needed to succeed, but he's starting to become just one of those "there" players and not showing much more, sadly.
Going to need him and his cap hit next season unless Tre pulls a rabbit out his hat and moves someone with a NMC.

They're giving their opinions in a tweet. It's a guess. It's not amateur, it's literally their job.
I dunno, feels like it's a way to try and generate more traffic to me. I wouldn't make any proclamations and let the team speak for itself, but that's just me.

I disagree. He's shown major strides in his game and has played far more mature this season as opposed to the chaotic stuff we've seen the last few years. He's been pretty solid through the first two games, good effort, clean positioning and he's had a couple of chances right in the slot where he got robbed by the goalies. I am happy with him and tbh I think he's been better than Knies. These are good building blocks for him after he's had a difficult road with so many injuries and missing critical development time, and I am hopeful that he will have a good season next year in an elevated role.

Drive traffic to what? It's a tweet. It's not leading to their respective website.

What would you rather a rinkside reporter tweet about at a skate?

"Marner changed his skate lace colour"

Thanks for all the responses on Robertson. I agree with everyone -- he is coming along and showing promise with his tenacity. Have I expected a bit more offensively? Sure. But I also know that young players like that should have fans like myself have tempered expectations (the same thing with Knies). Robertson is settling into a mid-six role nicely. And as many have mentioned in responses to me, I hope Treliving (and Keefe) afford him more leeway to become a fixture in the lineup than him being the odd man out every so often. The Leafs certainly could use an injection of that kind of youth into the lineup.

At work and can't go on Twitter, but I saw Dave Pagnotta retweeted Nylander is suffering from a head injury (Which would make a lot more sense, compared to a "tweak" or spazams" etc.

Not showing much? I mean, he was 47th in the league for forwards in goal/60. (Out of 480) I thought he played very well last game.

He was excellent in limited time, and should be a roster fixture starting next year.
Absolutely. He's been one of the feel good stories of the season.

The home team line is a little rich, but I'm not going to harp too much on this because I too think it's lame that there is an extra day off between games solely so it aligns with a Saturday night. I prefer games every other night.

I genuinely agree, but there's just something about Saturday night games at home in the playoffs - the entire city basically turns into a bit of a festival all day in preparation for it.

Plus that entire area around SBA, with the bars / restaurants being rammed etc., it's just a super cool atmosphere to be apart of. I have tickets for Saturday night too, which is so much more preferable than trying to get down after work.

How am I supposed to confidently give these betting apps all my money if these coaches are so secretive with lineups and injuries?

Again, if there is any concern regarding Nylander's health, I don't think it's worth the risk for him to rush back.

I hope he takes the extra couple of days off if he needs it.

Bruins are doing a ton of crying this year. What happened to them, I thought they were the bad guys? How disappointing.
They've always cried. I remember when Cassidy told on the Leafs to the NHL about 'skate bumps', whatever the f*** that means.

I know it's about the ratings, and I agree. There is a special charm to Saturday nights too. But we know the ratings and following would be there regardless of when the Leafs play.

I'd have the same gripe too if the series was lined up for a Sunday game and they threw it on at 12:30 pm to appease the U.S. TV market.

Just lick the stamp and send it - most Ontario sportsbooks void bets when a player becomes unavailable; I took the FanDuel bet boost for game 1, which included Nylander, and it was voided come puck drop as he didn't play.
