Yes let us hope it is condusivento winning more games and not being bad

Why is it a reward though? Why is seeing the ice in OT a reward? Shouldn’t we just be trying to win.
dude our roster sucks

With the injuries its even worse. Smith is gonna get mins

You don't understand how more ice time and being put on the ice in OT when its easy-peasy to score is a reward?

Re: Smith he's actually been good this year, particularly compared to last season. Going into back to back games against these 2 teams and only allowing 3 goals total is really good compared to expectations.

4-2-1 in last 7 games.

No Ryan, Duchene, Demelo, Jaros . It was always going to be a tough game. Considering the slaughtering at the hands of the Bruins lately, 2-1 on a team that can't play defence is not the end of the world.

We are thin. Guys are learning on the job . It will pay dividends next year. White was a bust last year. He is on the cusp of being a super important player.

Chlapik now in a boot. The injuries are brutal this year.

Tkachuk isn't producing, but is playing well. Batherson is going to have to find a way to elevate without Duchene.

Falk has been good!

Since the Rangers game (the first one, in NY), which was arguably the turning point for us defensively, we've been allowing only 2.62GA/G. Massive improvement.

Certain people complain about Boucher’s line combos. Then they complain he changes them too often. Maybe they should start realizing what kind of roster we have actually have along with it’s various deficiencies.

We played a nice tight game against a good team, both of us missing some key players.

Solid game by McKenna, if he can play like that as a fill in once in a while that’s great for us.

Taking a point from Boston after two from Pit is great news for this young squad.

This just shows how misleading stats can be. We all thought Duchene Dzingel batherson was a great line.
Rebuilding batherson needs mins so he up there even though he hasn't been noticeable on the scoresheet for some time

Same with Tkachuk

Yes, Smith has been good compared to last season. But a drunk midget with one good eye also would look good compared to Smith's last season.

Dzingle has been bad lately. He was never good defensively but he's not engaging as much lately and has not used his speed as much. Not sure what's up. Maybe he's just trying to not get hurt and rack up points, but it's frustrating.

I got to give it to McKenna though. What a performance today. Bravo.

Too bad we have so little depth, I'd rather have Batherson and Lajoie developing in the AHL. If they improve next year the way Chabot and White have improved this year, watch out!
