Montreal have no use for an old, slow, defenseman who doesn't shoot and doesn't hit! If they are talking with Z its regarding a D coaching job not to play.

As much as I would hate to see Chara in Montreal, this isn't like Carlton Fisk where a timing snafu screwed up the works on a player in his prime.

Z has earned the right to do whatever the hell he wants and I won’t complain. He’s in the last stage of his playing career but IMO could still offer teams quite a bit on the ice, on the bench and in the locker room.
