We gave up a 5th to get him, and we don't need him any more. Sounds good to me. I loved the moustache and appreciated his toughness, I'm glad he'll go to Edmonton to help those young guys out. If it's a 3rd round pick that would be cool, but even a 4th is good.
People are saying this has to do with opening a spot for Frattin and I'm sure it does, but the Leafs also signed Josh Leivo the same day. Were we up against the contract limit or something? If they were they acted pretty quick to get the kid's name on a contract, he's blossomed into a pretty good OHL player this season.
