When they got this game to OT, I thought considering who was in Net for the Devils, this was as good as I expected (in fact, I thought it exceeded my expectations as I did not expect much).

But winning this game ultimately was certainly not in any of anyone's predictions I imagine....

...though I did say the Devils have a better shot at beating Boston at home than on the road so that came to fruition at least.

That was one of the greatest sequences I've seen Bratt do since he clowned Parayko of the Blues a season (or two?) ago. :hockey:

Just absolutely left Lindholm and even the other defender in the dust, leaving a wide-as-the-grand-canyon passing lane for Jack to receive the pass and do Jack Hughes things with it.

TREMENDOUS win.

Just Tremendous.

Only teams that can come close to match up our speed in the format is Edmonton and Colorado. Everyone else, we'd have to f*** up massively hard to lose

I think it was 4 last year and there was the Nashville one which was a massive f*** up. Then the Ranger one IIRC they won the faceoff and we never touched the puck. The Kraken one was Blackwood being bad. Then the stupid Wild game where noting goes in then Jack hits the post and they score at the buzzer at the other end

Nemec with the most TOI on the team, was surprised when Lindy sent out Siegenthaler instead of Nemec after Luke but Nemec came on after
22:13 TOI, as you said that leads the team by about 1 minute. Highest CF% for D-men with 63.13% (4th overall). Another solid game tonight. He looks so calm and poised for a 19 year old. He's also getting his points which is nice. He's generating stuff and playing responsible hockey.

He's been getting more support and looking better as a result. The constant stream of breakaways and 2 on 1s isn't as constant recently.
Seems like that 3rd period in Vancouver was a breaking point for the team. And obvious effort has been made to clean shit up since. Hope these lines they tweaked in the third will now help the offense to wake up. Timo with his best game since injury, also Jack may have been playing sick. If Akira and Vitek put up .900% then look out NHL

Yep, sounds about right. I think we had a few chances one but Tatar made an awful play on the board I remember with Panarin on him. Nashville was just us not being ready to play OT and shellshocked from the late tying goal + apparently we can't beat Hynes (thank God we dont play Minny again this year)

Correct me if I'm wrong but it never really was. Someone threw out some odd man rush stat and we weren't even close to be a bottom dweller if memory serves me correctly.
