Bring the man back Home Lou( do it)

Yes!

I've been calling for this for a few weeks now.

Sign Marty during the break.

Let Kinky get the lions share of work in Albany and get them into the playoffs.

Play Cory 60%, Marty 40% of the games, it will give Marty a chance to get 700 wins, as a Devil.
Of course with the concrete understanding that he retires at season's end.

I don't think Cory would really mind too much if at all.
He knows he's the #1 here and will be so in camp, assuming Kinkaid doesn't beat him out for the job in camp.

Get him back here as a "puck handling coach" for Cory and Kinky! And Cory should have to take written exams on what to do when the puck approaches the trapezoid at certain angles and velocities.

I don't how much Marty could help Cory, keep in mind his puck handling skills were honed since he was a kid and he probably never really had to rely on drills and instruction. It would be like Rod Carew teaching Dave Kingman to hit for average.

Kinda out there analogy but it was the first thing to pop in my head.

Rod Carew = Marty Brodeur.

Nice comparison.

But I agree. Marty has stated that his way of playing hockey in general cannot be taught anyway.

Martin Brodeur will take another week or so, post all-star break, to decide his future, agent Pat Brisson says. The Blues are cool with that
