enjoy this guy every night you get to watch him - yes he does some really
dumb things, but always makes up for it. absolute treasure of a hockey
player and great guy off the ice. we'll go as far as he carries us.

Yes. The Bruins were lucky he was up for an extension just before he truly exploded offensively. Although it was already a good deal based on his 2015/2016 season, it got so much better.
Same thing with Pasta.
Hopefully Charlie McAvoy also signs for 8 years before starting to win his Norris Trophies

I honestly think that even Bruins fans underrate Marchand, thinking that there are multiple other players in the league who are as good as or better than him. Marchand is the best player in the world in my opinion - and more than a subjective case can be made for that assertion.
