When healthy Johnsson-Hyman-Mikheyev-Engvall are all ahead of him. The thing is right now only 2/4 are healthy so Timo is getting minutes. I would be perfectly fine with moving him especially with Korshkov/Marchment/Agostino even Brooks being options to step in at LW. We just have an absolute crap ton of wingers

But one of those players have been injured at some point and Mikheyev is out for the season. Timashov is cheap and decently talented. No reason to trade

IMO that is a no brainer to shop these guys around. TO doesn't really need them and they will be stuck in the minors/limited NHL mins for a very long time.

They had calls, teams want their "magic beans" to see if they grow into magic beanstalks

Bracco is the more interesting name, essentially because he has not had NHL time yet, so no one knows what he looks like there as opposed to Harpur and Timashov. At age 22, I can see why the Leafs are trying to push his value. Harpur is 24 and already has played 100 games, if he's not the guy he is by now, he's pretty close to it. Timashov I could see being a guy who could excel on a bad team, like if he was traded to Detroit who just need guys with any kind of skill right now, but the likelihood of getting the value he would provide to a team like that isn't good, imo.

Agostino just got called up. Johnsson is almost back so Johnsson-Hyman-Engvall-Agostino would be fine. I'm not advocating a Timo deal but due to our depth I would move him in the right deal

Could see the Rangers interested in Bracco. Local kid, RHS, and can replace either Kreider or Strome on the PP when they get traded. Not a big fan of his game though

Im actually surprised they havent given Harpur a shot, right now would be perfect timing with Muzzin out, instead of Marincin hanging around. I doubt Harpur has much value at all.

I wish we could give Bracco a shot but with Marner-Nylander-Kapanen all locked up it makes no sense to keep him around in the minors, so moving him while he still has value makes sense.

Timo is not a guy I want moved but in the right deal i would pull the trigger. It looks as though Engvall has surpassed him and with a full healthy roster he is our 5th LW at best with Johnsson/Hyman/Mikheyev/Engvall

I doubt they just dump Timo, I expect he would be a piece in a larger deal.

Harpur is like a guy who gets waived at the deadline and is picked up by another team who sold off everyone and needs a body.

(I have no idea if he would be eligible for waivers if he were recalled)

Yes it's much better to play guys without skill on your bottom line than is to play someone with skill.

When coaches learn that you can deploy a different strategy than one developed in 1923 the game will improve.
So does "skill" to you mean having good hands?

Samorukov?

Nah, don't see that happening.

The problem is he scores enough in the AHL to be intriguing but has enough knocks on him that it doesn't make sense to pay that kind of premium.

Samarukov might not pan out but with all the Oilers d that will be waiver eligible next year it doesn't make much sense to move him for a Bracco type return.

He's really the only guy in the range of what I'd want from the Oilers. So if that's a no it'd be pick(s) and I don't think we'd agree on what Bracco is worth picks only.

What are those knocks?

Let me guess, he's a powerplay specialist who doesn't play D?

I take it Samurokov is knock-free?

Shouldn't Toronto play Bracco in the NHL before they start trading him?

There is no room, he's not Marner, Kapanen or Nylander's job.

On the LW he's not getting Hyman's job, or Johnsson's when he comes back, or Engvall and Bracco doesn't fit on the 4th line.
