I do. This kid has produced at every level of the game at a very high level. The fact that he is a ppg in this years Marlies is remarkable as it is not filled with high end offensive talent.
Hope you're right, they can always use additional trade chips or a possible Nylander replacement?

Could be a decent 4th line/PP specialist type or a complementary setup man on a top line. His path to the NHL would be much easier if he played LW.

Have long been high on him since the ‘15 draft.

Though it does look as if he’s heading towards being part of a trade given the team’s RW depth.

ppg in the AHL as (an old) 21 year is actually not as good as you may think.

Lots of guys have done it, but they don't necessarily end up as high end offensive guys. Simon Gamache, Eric Fehr, Troy Brouwer, Jeremy Williams (!), Cal O'Reilly, Kyle Wilson, Toni Rajala, Emerson Etem, Ryan Spooner, Jordan Weal, Max Reinhart, Vladislav Namestnikov, Andrei Kostitsyn, Adam Mair, Kyle Wellwood, Rob Schremp, Nathan Gerbe, etc.

Doing it *before* the age of 21 is far more impressive.

He actually plays with Chris Mueller who is a high scoring AHL player and Timashov, they do all the work on the line. but Bracco is gifted when he gets the puck, he is not like Marner and chases the puck, down, etc

I see nothing but upside for him. His hockey IQ is fantastic. He is great at finding the open man and has always produced at every level.
He's always struck me as a little small and lazy, no doubt he has a large IQ.
As always I'll keep an open mind and hope I'm wrong.
Doesn't happen often though.

Actually it has happened more often then you are willing to say.
Ron Wilson is a great coach!
Nonis is awesome!
Burke is the greatest thing ever!
Nylander will be a failed draft pick!
Mark Hunter didnt want to be in the NHL, and is why he wasnt hired by an NHL team!

This is a rather poor and unsubstantial critique. I presented very clear evidence that Bracco is not performing at a level previously consistent with NHL top-6 forwards. What makes you think that he's the special exception?

Bracco was top 3 in the 1997 birth year all the way up to junior when he didn't grow. His stock dropped due to his size. We got very very lucky to pick him up later in draft. It was a gem pickup by Hunter. He has always found ways to win games with amazing plays on championship Sundays. I saw him play a game with Matty when they were like 14 i think where they destroyed a team with best Toronto 1997s including green laces aka Mitch. I think he got 5 goals in that game. He is the one player left in our system who can be a superstar at next level. The Leafs will be careful not to unload him for a rental. If Willy does not work out as anticipated in playoffs or Mitch can't be resigned at right AAV then he is the substitute. The Leafs will trade other guys first. It is extremely unlikely Sandin Lilly or Bracco gets moved. and if they do the first of the 3 untouchables to move s Lilly.

Here is how amazing things are for us right now...

Only a mere few years back if we had a 21 YO putting up 34 points in his last 26 games in the A it would be topic #1. We'd be Jeremy Bracco obsessed.

Now? I was shocked today when I saw he was top 10 in AHL scoring. Had no idea what kind of year he was having. Lol!

Is he the exception? Or is it Brayden Schenn? Krejci? Stone? Ribiero? Pominville? Pageau? Cammaleri? Boedker? Marchand? Palat? Callahan? D. Roy? T. Johnson? M. Perrault? Plekanec? Versteeg? Lupul?Kapanen? Marchessault? Kadri? Trochek?

Just a few guys you missed on your list from between ~.84 and 1.1 during U22

Some good ones too though! (Link: If young AHL scorers are a dime a dozen, I would like to give you many of my dimes):
