Shell of his former self most of last 2 years and injury prone

Loved the Rat at times but he just isnt' player he once was and that contract is too much for 4th line C

I'll take it. He really declined, but he'll always have a piece of my heart for that GWG. Thanks for your time Bolly.

Yeah really don't think the value was as bad as everyone thinks

That being said I love the guy and I'm thrilled he's coming to Toronto so I can still watch him. I just hope they don't play him in the top six.

I like Bolland but I understand trading him. Don't think it was the wrong move, but just wish they could have gotten more.

Meh. Would have liked more in return for him, but the writing was on the wall. Gives some of the young guys an opportunity, hopefully they take advantage.

Less value than I wanted, but we'll have to see how these picks turn out.

Puts us in a good spot with the cap though.

Like I said before, thanks for the memories, Dave. You were a big part of some of the Blackhawks' best moments.

I'm fine with it being the Leafs. Hoped for a better return.

1 year left, had to be moved + his injury history.

Pros:

Cap space
No real room for him, as Shaw has taken over
More picks
He's injury prone
He's really declined (though probably due to injuries)

Cons:

Maybe could have gotten more? (I don't see it, he was truly awful last season)

Sad to see him go, but understand that he had to leave. His play was declining the past couple of years, and the writing was on the wall.

The good news, living in Eastern Canada, I'll get to watch him every Saturday night.

I'm not surprised by the trade. Bolland will have a special place in all hearts with the GWG and 2 Stanley Cups. Bowman did say that he wants to give Pirri a chance, so here it is kid.

3 draft picks is fine with me.
