Top 20 in the league is pretty impressive for a 6th round pick in his D+1 season.

Then you have incredibly unrealistic expectations. You're just flat out wrong. Not even an opinion really. You're objectively wrong here.

Only one player taken in that 6th round had nearly as impressive of a season as Laferrier. Petterson, Calgary's pick, was second on his team in scoring as an 18 year old in college hockey. That is also very impressive. Nobody else even comes close. He had an incredible season so far and he's proving to be a great pick thus far.
