Jake is way better at this age than I thought he was ever going to be. Thought he was going to be a muck and grind 3rd/4th liner who you like having on your team but is hardly irreplaceable, but he’s already more than that. He just makes plays all over the place. Looks goofy and awkward as f*** while doing it, but he gets the job done.

I'm not sure anyone can take the place of Binnington for me but Neighbors is definitely up there. Just wait for Dvorsky and Snuggy.

With him and Snuggy, and Bolduc (who is already better than I'd have thought, this early), and Dvorsky, Stenberg, Lindstein, and Dean joining this team over the next few seasons, things will be better.
