shattenkirk is really playing like a #1 dman this season, its a nice thing to see

He's been playing really solid hockey for awhile, IMO.

Berglund-Stastny-X is starting to show some promise. If that can pull together to be a consistent line, then I really like how our forward lines shape up.

Berglund and Stastny have been good together. I just wish Bergy would shoot more.

Usually less players and more room on the ice helps The Blues. But maybe not against The speedy Avs (at least not when their top 2 forward pairs are out there.

Haha, I have the Avs feed and you can constantly hear players on the bench trash talking each other. You can't really tell what they are saying, but you just hear voices going all the time. And the Avs' color guy just said it's been a talk-off between Reaves, Ott and McLeod for the last several minutes. God I'd love to hear that.

I read something that made it sound like the Blues thought Stastny was deferring too much to everyone else on the ice as the new guy in the room. I think they're using it as an incentive...they want him to play in a way that demands more ice time.
