Make no mistake, this team desperately needs offense still. It's still one of the worst forward cores in the league, at least at the top 6.

And Shattenkirk isn't bad at defense in the slightest. Would probably be our best "defensive defenseman" too. That's a huge misconception about him. Just because he scores and plays the PP doesn't mean he stinks in his own zone.

I think the offense is what this team needs more than anything, it's ****ing abysmal and has been for years.
