My comment was less about the curl and drag and more about his decision-making. I saw this last season too. He's got good hockey sense, knows his own limitations, and plays smart.

I noticed he wouldn't uncork it in the playoffs last year, maybe game 7 when Alzner racked up a bunch of shots.

Or, he is not nearly as accurate vs his famed wrister and its an Oates directive.
