Canucks would probably like to shed eriksson, beagle, roussel, holtby, meyers, ferland (LTIR), and baerstchi.

How much would this cost them?

Baertschi expires this year, we need Holtby for the expansion draft, Myers (as much as I loathe his contract) doesn't have anyone we can use to replace, Beagle is still a positive contributor (including his anvil of a contract) and Ferland being LTIR isn't the end of the world to keep.

If we can shed Roussel and Erikssons though...I'm good with that.

But what does this do for Chicago?
Take on a terrible goalie at 2.25 and they get a fourth round pick?
..... and they get the luxury of having to pay him next year as well? Yikes.
The oilers should try and convince him to just go back to Europe. Not an NHL goalie.
I only threw that out there cause guy said he'd be an improvement on Subban for one season at 2.25

3rd rounder work? Or would it have to be a 2nd?
Koski + 2nd with no retention?

what you adding to dump koskinen...he's probably an upgrade over malcom subban fwiw

Lankinen's offseason goalie coach was Koskinen's goalie coach for 5+ seasons over in Finland and Russia.

Do us a favour and take Koskinen with $1.5M retained straight up for Subban. ;) You can't go wrong with a Finnish duo.
