Sure? Don't really want Khaira but I doubt he'd be hard to trade.

I also can’t see why they’d need Staal but if he plays with RNH, McDavid, Drai, I like his odds to hit 50 so... sure lol

Eric Staal would've been a nice trade bait for a team needing a top 6 C but he looks like last year's Jeff Carter at best. Nothing's happening out there.

The Wild as a whole feel like last years Kings.

Ryan Strome for Marcus Foligno.

Strome gives a RHS forward that can C and W. RFA at the end of this season, and with his QO, could walk away and open cap space.

Foligno gives the Rangers a bottom 6 winger, but one with some size. Rangers take on the extra year of a guaranteed deal with a slightly smaller cap hit.

For purposes of this, we could retain the difference in salary between the two players for this season, maybe retain a little more than that on Strome, but the Rangers need to be careful with their rookies being able to earn performance bonuses.

Add in picks, if needed, to balance the deal.

We really don't need more bottom-6 centers. Foligno's contract's a little heavy but it's not hurting us, and relative to expectations he's been one of our best forwards. Hell, even in absolute terms he's been one of our better forwards, as depressing as that is.

I figured as much, but was hoping that the idea of shaving roughly 3M off the cap next season was enticing enough. Noticed he is producing now, so it's probably hard to say he'd be moved. Could see that change in a few months if his production goes back to what he normally produces.

Leafs should go after Suter as long as Wild retain salary...
Again, unless the Leafs (or whoever) are somehow going to cover the $19m in recapture penalties that the Wild would be exposing themselves to, neither Parise or Suter are likely to be traded. Even ignoring his NMC and the fact that he's still more or less our best player, the recapture alone is enough to kill the idea.

Mynny should just ship off the players hampering them with the NTC/NMC.

Great loyal fans who got duped with the fake news Suter and Parise sold them. Yuge disappointment they have been regarding post season expectations.

It wasn't Suter and Parise that failed them in the playoffs. It was the Granlund/Zucker/Nino/Coyle crew and continuously running into Chicago.

Or the Blues, or the Avs. Those were worse imo, because the Wild were favorites.
