Refs were fine, we only have problems with refs while playing in or against another country. You know like USA and the Quebec team.

The Marincin-Odoganov pairing is what nightmares are made of.

Hopefully Dermott is back Saturday. If Hainsey can't go I'd rather see Holl in for Marincin. Odoganov has looked better of late but he can't play with Marincin. Both of those players need to play with someone that can carry them.

I think the ice time reflects the fact that we had a comfortable lead a little over halfway through the 2nd and the Jets having more power plays. At any rate, the big guns should be well rested going into the second game of the home-and-home.

Really solid game, they break out their own zone a lot better than the last two games. The players were skating hard and had a really good jump.
The Jets were good too and not like they were playing like crap.
Andersen was the better goalie.
Reilly was solid and so was Zai.

How do we continually get one or two PP chances a game? Our great PP is nothing if the refs are too afraid to make the calls. Rielly was tripped on two occasions near our blue line with the game being 3-2 and no calls were made.

i don't understand why the belief is - if you make some harsh remarks - it automatically means you also can not acknowledge it's a great team.

Nobody said that, wasn't a black and white comment. For instance, Zaitsev was horrible tonight and I'm very concerned about his play.

good win. The Leafs looked very structured and motivated tonight, and that's on Babcock. I also thought Matthews is starting to look like his dominant self, and his defensive play looked strong tonight
