We have our share of obnoxious fans too!
Hell, we can't even get along with each other as Leaf fans.
It is brutal on our board most of the time with the infighting and bullying, even though we're suppose to be mostly Leaf fans.

Nah... We are all very nice and cool buds. Those obnoxious ones they are just pretending to be Leafs fans. In fact they are Jets' and Canuks' trolls. When we figure them out they throw a fit and move on to their real teams boards (ex.: see TWS).

Good team win.

No matter what level of hockey most teams up 3-0 will always have the other team come oit strong as they are desperate to get back in the game. Been happening for 100 years and will continue to happen. Its about how you weather the storm and slow down momemtum like the 4th goal did.

Ice time leaders:

Hyman 19:42
Lindholm 18:32
Brown 18:01
Tavares 17:39
Matthews 17:34

I know we won but... really, Babcock?

Special teams play a part too. If we weren't constantly getting shafted by the refs the ice time allocation would change.

Man Laine doesn't skate. He floats A LOT out there. For a guy his size he sure doesn't engage like you think he would. He literally floats into pockets of open ice and waits for a pass. His shot is world class, but man the rest of his game leaves a lot to be desired.
He's Brett Hull 2.0

Would love if we can get the Nylander deal done and there was some way he was in the line up for Saturday. Would add another element to what is going to be another game with a big game feel.

Good game. Win on the road against a hard team to beat at home. Have to be very happy with this one. Kadri off the schnied too.
Kadri played on another level the moment he scored that goal.
Think he will less tense now and start to play better.
Brown needs to be off his line.

That was a fun game to watch.

Good effort beating a strong team with a great home record in their barn.

Clearly 3 days of practice with Babcock did this team a world of good.

This will be a long season with many ups and downs before it is all over.

Some people on this board need to chill when the team stumbles a bit.

These last few years have been the most fun I have had as a leafs fan in over a decade.

If you can’t enjoy this, then you should find another sport to watch.

Like lawn bowling.

Go Leafs Go!

Good win, but we have yet to see the best version of our Leaf team. This team has another gear for sure.

Nice to shut up the cocky Jets fans.

Couldn't watch the whole game but that Marner move + Tavares clean up was a thing of beauty

Oh and I think the PK did a good job tonight.

2.5 to 1 if you look at the ice time, the Jets scored halfway through Brown's penalty.

I can't believe people are seriously arguing that Brown/Hyman/Lindholm deserve the same ice time as Matthews. That's what all of these posts imply, assuming PP/PK were balanced.

People arent arguing that, just trying to help you understand TOI management

Hyman~ Tavares~ Marner will have similar minutes because they are on the same line. If a lot of penalties are called against, Hyman will get a lot of PK time added to his total TOI.

Really good game from the boys. Brown still looks awful IMO. Nice to see kadri get on the board and it was good to see the Tavares line pot one too. We can’t seem to draw any penalties lately, but it’s great we’re still winning without arguably our greatest strength.

Based on their GDT thread, Jets fans would agree.
