This is why I travel as much as possible. It's amazing... I went out last year in Manhattan and met more beautiful women in 5 minutes than I did in 1 year living in Pittsburgh.

I think you also have the suburb factor too. Not many hot chicks (outside of college girls) really live in the city these days. The best option (unfortunately), for a single guy living in Pittsburgh, is to try your luck on East Carson St. You basically gotta wade through a drunken haze of chaos if you want to go down that path though, lol. Shadyside is a close 2nd.

I have family that lives in the south and they have all said in every city they were in that it was impossible to find a pierogie. One city was Charleston.

It's odd they aren't down there because you figure at this point in time there's enough transplants all throughout the south, and it's not like something like a fried ravioli with different flavored fillings isn't appealing to everyone.
