Any thoughts of who are the best puck handling Goalies in the NHL?

Is anywhere near as good as Brodeur, Hextall or Belfour?

Could anyone rank the top goalies - especially amongst starters or 1a and 1b goalies

Tokarski played solid for Montreal in the 2014 playoffs. The biggest reason they got eliminated was that the Rangers were able to use their speed to dump and chase, and not have to worry about a 3rd defenseman getting the puck and playing it. Price is one of the best.

Turco was definitely my all time favorite puck handling goalie.

Current guys pretty good at it are Mike Smith, Bishop, Lehner, Price, Rinne

Allen is insane.

Smith is good, Price is good as well.

Bishop doesn't match them.

Matt Murray, not exceptional, but plays the puck very calmly and with a lot of control. Although, I'm used to Fleury, who can't play a puck for his life, so...

Bishop is amazing. He almost makes more breakout passes every game than half of our D men. He also very often clears the puck when the opposite team dumps it in even if there's a forechecker coming in. You could see how big of a difference it made when he went down in the playoffs.

That's like the main strength of Mike Smith. And the ability to draw penalties.

But yeah, Price and Bishop are somewhere at the top.
