Everyone talking about him having a big slow release. Thought he was another type that absolutely needed time and would be better being sat so he can refine his mechanics and footwork. I know some think that's outdated, but he actually has flaws he could correct

It was a horribly officiated game, and was hot to talk about for a day, but nobody really cares any more and nothing is going to come from it.

It was a soft call and stupid rule to begin with, but at the end of the day, if marsh had just stopped after the karate kick he never woulda been called for anything. The bears are getting called for the taunting penalty nearly every game and this wasnt even the worst one. They have had issues with discipline related personal foul/conduct penalties for awhile now under Nagy; maybe its time to look in the mirror.

Then whenever an offense runs down the field to celebrate a TD by mean-mugging the camera needs to be flagged, period. What Marsh did, did not justify a flag, it was an ref being a little bitch and now the NFL just empowered him to do it again to another team.

Forgot he even existed or was supposed to come back.

One thing I do recall to start this year after Field's hype looking at 2018, and it shows up how much faster that team was everywhere. Only at pure running back or comparing Field's to Trubisky could you say they're faster now. They had more WR speed, Robinson looked faster, Trey Burton played faster and Cohen was a huge factor.

With DT & Mack done for the year & as bad as this sounds we may need to start rebuilding the O first & cut bait with Mack, Quinn, DT, & Jackson if we can get good draft capital.
We can probably get a 3rd & 4th for Mack, a 3rd for Quinn if he continues to play better, & maybe a 3rd for Jackson. Use our 2nd & 3rd for more O pieces (WR & C).
Then sign one good O piece. Start building the D back up around Smith & JJ.
