If you’re comparing Dubas to Dorion, you’re admitting he’s a bad GM

I don’t think Dubas is anything special. However, his off-season acquisitions seem to be panning out so far. Dorion’s are back firing and Ottawa might be worse than the 2014-2015 Sabres.

What about the 2016-17 Avalanche who had 48 points in 82 games, where as the 2014-15 Sabres had 54 points.

Hell even last years Red Wings team had 39 points in 71 games and might have done worse than the 2017-18 Avalanche team.

Adding another top prospect to their pool probably isn't the worst thing in the world. Sure, it would be nice to be competitive. But the Sens weren't winning the Cup, probably not making the playoffs this season, anyways.

I thought it didn’t matter how many points you had, only where you finish in the standings that determined how you did?

Barrie has been really good the last few games. Showing a lot more offensive flair. Starting to settle in on the PP as well.
2 more points tonight. Now hes 1-8-9 in 12 GP. Hes 6th among D for points league wide. 10th for EVP, 11th for PPP, 6th for shots, 11th for TOI, 75th for TOI/GP.

I'm sure it helped that Barrie was able to benefit from back to back games against Ottawa, even though I think it was last week when some Oilers fans were becoming disappointed with how he had played so far.
Fans have short memories. If Brodie does well here next few games Leafs fans will flock here saying Brodie back on top.

Should make for an entertaining, but tiring year.

Brodie also played back to back games against Ottawa, and looked pretty rough.

Imagine saying after a few games of decency, that your now better than someone who has been pretty much consistent.

You do realize hes a sens fan trolling you because hes too ashamed to talk about his own team right?

Wait, you think Barrie is playing better? He's been a defensive trainwreck
Have you been watching the Oilers game lately? He's fine defensively after a few adjustment games and now he's starting to heat up offensively
