And barrie was a +10 at 5on5 in the 47 games with keefe while playing 17-18 minutes a night at 5on5.

Seems pretty solid.

No Leafs fan will deny that when Keefe took over Barrie started playing a lot better compared to when Babcock was still around.

However it was short lived and when Toronto played Columbus in the qualifying series Barrie didn't do anything, although the whole team had problems scoring on the Blue Jackets goalies for most of those games.

For the record, I think Brodie is better than Barrie, I just don't think Barrie is nearly as bad as he's made out to be.

For the record I do wish Barrie had played better from his 1st game of last season, instead of from his 24th game after Keefe took over from Babcock.

Barrie is awful, watch him in his own zone. He can't win puck battles, always lost and out of position, his assignment is usually wide open, cant make breakouts under pressure. He's a glorified PP QB.

Yes McDavid's tip in goal was nice, however this tip in goal by Tavares looks better since it was the game winning goal.

He was also on the bottom pair by the end of the season. Wasn't exactly getting the toughest competition.
