Grackle Party
Full of guts!!
What does it all mean?
Yan works for Vegas? Did that factor into Paul signing there or vice versa?
What does it all mean?
Let's hope Kerfoot has a good game.Horcoff is director of player development and The other guy from Detroit is the AGM. Nyquist here we come.
What does it all mean?
Doubt even more the Avs would be willing to pay what it takes to bring him back.
You mean of other players right? And not Point?I just realized Point is on his last year of his ELC.
That might be too rich for Tampa. Off season trade maybe.

I mean something has to happen if Point wants 10m. They are up against the cap.You mean of other players right? And not Point?
Melnyk might take Callahan. Much needed grit and leadership. Helps reach cap floor.

They have that tax advantage, and could use Kucherovs contract as a comparable, but it's still going to require some moves.
Doesn’t Callahan have a NTC, can’t see him waiving that to go anywhere to be honest.
Oh yeah he does. Maybe a buyout?
Always amazes me how that team has that contract on it.
Sure but being flexible might mean 9.5, not 10.5.Already reported that he’s willing to be flexible with a deal to stay in Tampa. He’ll get bridged.

Some players take less money, but not much less, and at the end of the day, his agent has a lot to work with during negotiations.
If he hits 100 points, I can't imagine his contract starts with an 8.
Not when Matthews just got 11.6, and Tavares got 11.
Eichel got 10, with a bad injury history, and a career high of 64 points.
Oh. Well cap hit is the issue. No he said flexible on years. Said he was open to 2, 5, or 8 year contract.

I don't follow...if he signs at 9x2, or 9x8, his cap hit is 9 in either situation. But that’s what I’m saying. If he’s open to a 2 year bridge that’s gonna keep the cap hit low and keep TB’s window open 2 years longer.

I still can't see him taking less than 9 on a bridge. Not with the way the market is right now.If he signs a bridge the number won’t be that high. The point of a bridge is to lower the AAV. He’ll either sign a long term deal around 9 or do what Kuch did a couple seasons ago.
