I don't follow...if he signs at 9x2, or 9x8, his cap hit is 9 in either situation.

If he signs a bridge the number won’t be that high. The point of a bridge is to lower the AAV. He’ll either sign a long term deal around 9 or do what Kuch did a couple seasons ago.

I still can't see him taking less than 9 on a bridge. Not with the way the market is right now.
