Easy no from Philly...and here is why:
The Flyers NEED a #3C. Hell...we need one this year. Frost is the only C in our system with top 6 upside and rolling out Couts, Patrick and Frost should cause matchup issues for other teams in the future. Frost just can't be traded because we don't have the C depth at C for our prospects yet.
Farabee...they just drafted him. They can afford to let him play 2 years in college if need be but he has top 6 upside as well. No need to trade him at all.
Morin...he was on track to play games with the Flyers this past year and then had the season from hell. He is out until Jan/Feb. But they re-signed him for 3 years so he is still very much in the plans. His PK ability is something we really lack as is his natural snarl. With expansion happening in 2 years, we could lose a Dman so no need to trade one away when his value is at it's lowest.
Sandstrom is not a reclamation project. Just 1.5 years ago he was the top goalie at the WJC. This past year, it was all out of his control as this is what he dealt with: "
Yes, Felix Sandstrom had a down year, but why? He has shown progression at each stage of his career, so why the sudden downturn in his development? Well, we would eventually come to find out that it wasn’t exactly an abdominal injury that hampered his play all season long. Sandstrom battled a throat and stomach ailment connected to the mononucleosis he had during the 2014-15 season, which made it difficult for him to keep food in his system (we won’t get into details here, but you get the picture). His team doctors decided to shut him down for nearly two months during the regular season in order to rest and recover, which caused Sandstrom to miss considerable playing and training time."
The Flyers will let him develop another year in the SHL and then bring him over. They signed him to his ELC in March so he is very much in their plans.
Now to Barrie. He just is not needed. We know offense is his strength, not his defense. In Philly, he would not get #1PP time as Ghost gets that and our PP is set up for a LHD, not a RHD. So now we would be taking Barrie and removing one of his top skills. And sure, he could go on the 2nd unit with Provy. But then that diminishes Sanheim and Myers's skills too since they have that upside.
Now add in that Barrie is a UFA in 2 years. Well the Flyers window is not open yet with goaltending being an uncertainty, the #3C spot...and thus the 3rd line...not ready, and the young defense still needs a few more years together to grow together.
The Flyers just have no reason to do a bundle deal on a guy with 2 years left for a position(offensive PP guy) they don't need. If this was for a more defensive guy who was cost controlled longer, they you could take this deal and tweak it and possibly make it work(think Trouba with term). But not for Barrie.
