Zajacs Bowl Cut
Lets Go Baby
You ain't wrong.
You guys got a great team to follow for the next few years. Could be the next great team to break through. Have fun!

Alex Newhook somehow has a worse faceoff percentage than Jack Hughes, to go along with his 0 points in 8 games.
I definitely don't want to re-sign him if he doesn't return to previous levels of point production pre-injury, unless it's for way cheaper than that.I mean Wood is a heart and soul player. I think the Devils should keep him if he signs for $3m or less.
Naturally, I'd go to the afternoon game tomorrow, too, but my girlfriend and I are going to a pre-Halloween screening of Beetlejuice that's going on at the same time in Fort Lee, figures. I don't care that much about football, but I want to see Michael Keaton scream "HEY! NICE @#$%IN' MODEL!"
Sympathy for the Devils? Really? Can you work in some politesse next time?Man disappointing reaction from the Avs fans, didn't know they were such sore losers. Making fun of our (and team's) reaction to the win and laughing at us calling this as our best game (like how bad does our worst look and such). Complaining how they were missing this and that player, as if they don't have the #1 D and a top3 C in the league among other incredible players like Rantanen and Byram..
You would think they could symphatize with the Devils since they were also terrible for a long time. The Devils have been bad for a whole decade with goaltending and defence issues, so shutting down the reigning champs is a big deal. The success really got into their (avs fans) head quick.

Plus we have a log jam of young forwards whom we can’t even find room to play. Right now it’s “depth” but Fitz will soon need to decide whom he’s betting on going forward.I definitely don't want to re-sign him if he doesn't return to previous levels of point production pre-injury, unless it's for way cheaper than that.
That's too much if his point production sees a dip. $3 million is too much for a guy that doesn't really put up a whole lot of points, unless it's a really good defenseman like Siegenthaler.
Yeah I know ''But points aren't everything'', but his production, should it not see a significant rise from his 1 point in the last 11 games, is something that could be replaced for way cheaper than $3 million per.
And yes, it's only 11 games and he could easily finish the season with 30 points or more, but since those are his only games since coming off a major injury, I think it's a possibility his scoring might be seeing a huge drop. I'm not saying he'll only score 10 or 12 points this year, but $3 million is too much for him if he doesn't score at a borderline 3rd line rate, like he had been before this year. It could be replaced by a cheap ELC or player making $1.5 million.
I don't know why we can't just let players go when they get to UFA. We've had to let players go in the past when we were a cap team, like Brian Gionta and Brian Rafalski being two of the most prominent. We haven't really had that problem in the last decade because we really haven't been a cap team. Gionta and Rafalski both wanted to stay here too.
I mean, there were even a few people who wanted to keep Zacha around before we finally put that out of its misery.
I'm not sure there's really anyone eager to keep Ryan Graves around, but there were definitely people that wanted Kulikov and Murray (and Murray was too beat up and permanently broken by the time he got here anyway) re-signed a little over a year ago. We have to let players go sometimes and replace them with younger/cheaper options.
They considered that a bad performance at the time. My criticisms are that they are fairly static when they play it although that could be due to filming requirements. Also they should have gotten someone to play maracas so Jones could have played guitar and done some dueling solo work with Keith which probably would have been excellent .
They sat on it and didn’t realeass it for maybe 40 years or so. They really didn’t like how it compared to The Who’s performance at the same event. It’s all on YouTube. The highlight to me is the Dirty Mac.Really? I think it's a brilliant performance. I've always been more of a Beatles guy myself (I heard you have to choose one or the other ) but there's few Stones songs I really love, including this one.

I think $3m is too much for a 4th liner, however I acknowledge that replacing Wood could be a tough task. Ideally you want the replacement to have similar traits to Miles but cost less. Someone that is fast, physical and can chip in some goals. Could Tyce Thompson be that player? Not sure he has the physicality.I mean Wood is a heart and soul player. I think the Devils should keep him if he signs for $3m or less.
