Why is it that every single game, Avs dump the puck into the opponents' zone to have it cleanly and easily taken out, whereas Avs get hemmed into their own zone?

That's on Holden 100% IMO from start to finish. For god only knows what reason he decides to hammer the puck around the boards, and then is literally less than a stick length away from his defensive parter and leaves Ryder all alone on the right side. Why? Why is Nick Holden still in the NHL
