Terrible second goal aside, Dubynk was solid. Just two games but he has already been better than I expected.

Well, the blues have to feel bad... we are terrible when hit, have bad goaltending, missing a top forward and goalie, on our first game back and are ballerinas but they still found a way to lose a crucial game. If only they weren’t 22 points back and we didn’t have the NHL in our pocket.

Best player hands down tonight was Tyson Jost. Bura gets 2 goals including the GWG, Landy gets two assists and Mackinnon gets 3 assists but tonight was Tysons night. All over the puck, drew a call that lead to the first Bura goal I think, made nice plays all over the ice. Tyson Jost is the Avs #2C. Normally thats a bad thing but hes been playing some solid hockey for 1.5 months now.

Not even going to blame Dubnyk for the bad goal...even Gru frequently lets in bad goals. He made the big stops when he needed to so that's fine.

Bad first period but good game overall for a team that has been sitting for so long. Very happy with the result.
