Okay, the blood has settled and let me say that was an amazing game and the talent in today's NHL shined through. I was having nightmares of Calgary Flames, so the tension was building, but it was nice to see the Avs have a bit more class to finish them off. I still dislike the Pens though.

That second Crosby goal had me almost bite through my Grolsch long neck.. metal, ceramic top and all. Grrrr Grubes..

Then had another and things improved. Note to superstitious self.. drink and xtra Grolsch when the Avs need addt'l goals and better effort between the pipes. Will get right to work on that next game.

I am so proud of this team right now. They are playing unbelievable hockey and we are witnessing something Super special with MacK-Rant-Landeskog! This line is the best in NHL and one of the best lines in the last 20 years. Crazy crazy. Small tear of joy today watching the highlights.
